Kataria Solicitors is a law firm in Birmingham specialising in all types of Immigration Law cases. We are also Commissioner for Oaths and we can draft and attest legal documents such as Affidavits, Change of Name Deeds and Statutory Declarations. We also offer services of drafting Sponsorship Declarations.
We are based in the heart of Birmingham, near Soho Road and we cater for a diverse range of needs. Kataria Solicitors offers a friendly and professional service and he will be there to help you through your case as it passes through the various stages to completion.
Kataria Solicitors is based at 234 Grove Lane, Handsworth. Birmingham, B20 2EY. Our opening times are from 0900 to 17.00 Monday – Friday. We offer a Sunday morning consolation service on an appointment basis between 9-12 for those who are unable to attend our offices during the working week.
The principle of Kataria Solicitors, Kanwarjit Kataria is a solicitor with over 23 years experience in private client work, specialising in primarily immigration work. Kanwarjit has been working in this area since he qualified in 2001 and has helped over a thousand families and individuals. He deals with all immigration matters.
Kanwarjit has a strong legal background having undertaken his LLB (Hons), a MA degree in International and Comparative Business Law and having completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Central England. He completed his training contract at J M Wilson Solicitors and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. In 2005 he set up Kataria Solicitors, specialising in Immigration and Asylum work. He has built up a strong reputation amongst the local community and his clients for outstanding legal services delivered in a simple and understandable manner.
He is particularly skilled at dealing with complex immigration matters, in particular involving human rights. He has previously been accredited by the Legal Services Commission to a Senior Caseworker under the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. He also had experience in dealing with all areas of Family Law including divorce and Criminal law.
He is fluent in a range of languages including Punjabi and Hindi.

Kataria Solicitors do not undertake Publicly Funded work. We offer professional immigration services with very reasonable fixed fees and flexible payment terms for all of our clients. Please be advised that our fixed fee does not include the Home Office UKVI Fees which the applicant/or their sponsor will have to pay to the Home Office UKVI directly at the time of the submission of the online immigration application including the Immigration Healthcare Surcharge.
